Thursday was day 6 of the wedding roadtrip to Yosemite. It was the day of getting stuff done for the wedding and big trees. Lots of last minute details got done and some of the group went out in search of big trees and cupcakes. Both were found:)
Here are some pictures of Mariposa Grove in Yosemite. Brad took these…I am proud…he did such a good job! Also, to give you photographers some perspective, these were shot on 17mm full frame…and the trees still dont hardly fit…isn’t that amazing!

this was our view on the way back through Yosemite. Unbelievable. I added in some landmarks for ya (and for my memories sake!)

el capitan. in all its glory. it takes about 2 days to climb but the record is 2 hours in speed climbing. Can you believe that!

then we had the night that I was most looking forward during the week. Taco stand night! This tiny community of El Portal, made up of mostly people who work in the park, has a taco stand that comes out every Thursday. The whole community comes out and all eat outside together complete with a little bar. I was in love! Made me miss the days of YWAM and community living. And it convinced me I need to find a taco stand for Fountain City:)

next up….first look and the wedding day!!!! (with bits of snow!)
