Ah, I love engagement sessions…for so many reasons. I love getting to hang out with the couple, getting to know them better and having a good time getting some pictures for them. And I love then that on the wedding day its like reuniting with friends rather than showing up to a strangers wedding. Shaina and Trent rocked it at their engagement session! Can’t wait to reunite with them at their beautiful May wedding!

If memory serves me right I think shooting through the window was Shaina’s idea…and it was an awesome one!

i’m in love with this picture! It is one I snapped while getting the settings and this is just them being them. Love. It’s shot through these branch things.

I found these cards at a local bakery and it was instant love! I’m kind of addicted to them now:)

taking the plunge

haha…the title belongs to Lauren and her sister’s creative minds:) Hope they don’t mind I borrowed it for the title…I was out of creativity tonight. So, this is part 2 of Lauren and Joshua’s engagement session. Lauren took a little jump off for a picture that she has wanted for a long time, at a place that is special to her and her dad. Then we went to another special place, the place where her and Joshua met and got engaged. Love fun meaningful places for engagement sessions!

upping the ante

This engagement session gets the award for hardest pictures to narrow down for a post. Caroline and Ryan agreed to my crazy idea of meeting outside of Knoxville, in Corryton, at the corn maze. Then they upped the ante on engagement sessions, they brought his truck as their prop. LOVED IT! It was a beautiful day and they rocked the engagement session! They are getting married next Spring and I can’t wait to capture their wedding, which I’m sure will be just as awesome!
