So this post is heavy on pictures of just that, the photography we took at the barn because the light was so much fun to play with that day and they were rocking it. Love them!

golf and honeydo’s. These were the answers from Jenna and Jay at a question that was on what they didn’t want to do on the honeymoon:) We had the golf tee’s so Jenna had the awesome idea of honeydew and I love it!

The weather was perfect for such a perfect day, complete with limo rides, fun dancing, and Sara and Roy, who were their amazing selves and just thoroughly enjoyed the day. Roy said to Sara when he first saw her “that’s my Sara”. Love that!

so, had to include these next two. This little boy tore up the dance floor and was the cutest thing ever! Lots of fun dancing that night but he takes the cake:)

Now onto some beautiful classy pictures:) Clifton and Lesli were married at Cherokee Country Club here in Knoxville. It was a beautiful, hot day for an unbelievable couple and wedding. Cherokee Country Club was an amazing location and the details that Lesli and Clifton had were stunning. The flowers alone made my day!

oh, and the dress. and the shoes. and I could go on! oh, and the gorgeous bride!

They are a great reason to craft or you can go have some fun looking over at Etsy oh, and you can check out this little gem of a beard on a stick too while you are at it…don’t say I didn’t warn you that finding props for your photo booth is a little addicting:)

We had so much fun with the giant balloons! I have so many other shots of Caroline strutting her stuff but I just love her expression in this one. She was pure joy and soaked up every minute of her wedding day. My second shooter, the amazing Feuza, and I kept saying how we just loved her smile…it lit up her whole face and was contagious!

Both Caroline and Ryan’s parents were amazing! Love this one that not only has Caroline’s sweet parents in it but shows off the giant lights they had hanging from the tent.

I knew it was going to be an amazing wedding just seeing all the fun details that went into the ceremony and reception. Rafaella paid attention to every detail to make it unique to her and her wedding. Love that! From glasses for her bridesmaids to a quilt, you name it this wedding had it:)

A big giant shout out to my friend and fellow wedding photographer, Feuza, who flew down from New Jersey to second shoot with me. She is a gem and I so enjoyed working with her!

even the bridal suite for the girls to get ready in is amazing at Hunter Valley Farms!

another very cool detail. Rather than the usual guest book, Rafaella and Brian had a guest quilt where people wrote on the square pieces and it will be made into a quilt with some pictures in it too. Such a legacy to have made and pass down, love it!

something just gets me at every wedding when the dad is walking the bride down the aisle and the groom is waiting in the background. That and the father/daughter dance chokes me up everytime!

perhaps one of the coolest traditions I’ve seen for rings at a ceremony. It’s called a ring warming, where the ring is passed among all the guests as they say wishes/good thoughts/prayers for the couple. Then after that the couple exchanges the rings. Very cool.

A big, giant congrats to Rafaella and Brian! So excited for them as they begin their amazing life together!

Before we left El Portal on the last let of our wedding roadtrip we said goodbye. I had had a picture in my head for the week and hadn’t gotten around to it so J Tree Dave grabbed my camera and rocked it out for us.

then while on the roadtrip I got a little bored and took random pictures of Jason.

and after lots of hours of driving there it was. my beautiful Pacific Ocean… I have missed you and will someday live by you again!

ah, and I LOVE this picture. Love. Seriously jealous of the photographers that get to shoot in this sun on a daily basis.

We stayed in Half Moon Bay and camped right by the beach. We walked up the beach a little to eat at Sam’s Chowder House.

so here ends the journey. Jason and Karissa are married! Hope you enjoyed the recap. I have two other amazing weddings waiting in the wings to be blogged this week so much more awesomeness to come:)

First up, the band, was amazing! They are the Good Luck Thrift Store Outfit and some awesome guys! None of that usual wedding YMCA stuff…oh no, they were awesome!



So then the band wrapped up around 10 and a little craziness ensued. Craziness meaning that for louder speakers they decided to drive a smart car through a door into the reception! Then the boys decided they would try to pick it up. Nice! Turns out a smart car is little but not light!

Jason, remember the day you danced on a car in the middle of your reception? Yep, that was legendary:)
