my birthplace, the city where my mom grew up, the place that at 15 showed me what it was like to give back to those in need and love the differences we all hold, the destination of some roadtrips in college, once to view the fresh dust of 9/11. new york. There is nothing better than walking down a street of New York, you just feel like you are part of something. I leave in less than 12 hours for a quick trip for some photography funness. and I’m nervous. why?! I’m feeling my age and my days of youthful abandon by myself is lagging. Now I’m wishing I had my fam to enjoy it with me, to show Lena the FAO Schwartz store (next time its definitely going to be a family trip!) On the flip side though, I promise that happiness will ensue when I’m chilling at the hotel room looking out at New York and shopping at B&H Photo
