here we are again! don’t the weeks go by way too quick! I have been busy editing and getting things done before I go to Guatemala next week. I took a little time away from editing to do this five though…gave my eyes a needed break:) enjoy!
1. We started the Fireproof devotional this week at small group. I’m excited to see what its all about! This year is year 4 for Brad and I….doesn’t seem possible! So I figure this can’t be anything but good for the relationship…even if I had to drag him to go with me:) (the food helped coax him but now he is dedicated to it….he’s not too good with change but once he commits there is no turning back!)
2. So Lena’s new thing is headbands. She found a pack of 4 on our recent trip to Target and then proceeded to open them and put them all over her head, every which way, and walk around the store like she was something. Hilarious! So, I caved and bought them and now she is free to wear them everywhere (which she does!)! I snapped a pic of it the other day but it is still sitting on the card. I’ll share in the future:)
3. My new Etsy find! I just love Etsy! So these are customized adoption gifts…a grand idea! I’m thinking they can also be just fun gifts in general too! I LOVE maps…something about a globe or map that makes me all giddy inside. strange, I know. so these pendents I am loving!
4. I’m in need of some old doors. If you know where I can find one or have some you want to get off your hands, holla at your girl. Old wood doors preferably, can be in bad shape (in fact the more distressed the better!)
5. Woohoo for Memorial Day! Super excited about this weekend! First, an awesome wedding tomorrow in one of the most amazing places I have yet to photograph a wedding in. Then, final packing day for the mission trip and a cookout with friends, followed by a day of leisure on Monday that I am going to use to get some stuff done! Woohoo! How are you enjoying your Memorial Day?

I love etsy, too. I actually have a shop there but have never sold anything. LOL If you’re looking for old doors, check to see if you have a salvage yard somewhere nearby OR even a Habitat for HUmanity Restore near you. We have a Restore here and they always have a bunch of old doors on hand. And they’re not expensive either.
oohhh, good idea on the Habitat for Humanity! I think we have one here in town….off to check on it:)
i was thinking about your door situation and wondered if you posted your door need on craigs list
Hi, courteous posts there
thank’s exchange for the intriguing word
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I love your 5 on Fridays! It’s just such a fun idea!
