Indy waited his time out for a rockin’ birthday…St. Patrick’s Day! He was 8lbs 8 oz and a healthy baby boy! I can’t wait to meet him in July! Congrats to Linz and Eric! Lena is a proud cousin and just ooohed and aahed over his pic on the computer:) Here he is on a pic I stole off of my dad’s facebook page

Monday, March 16th, 2009So this weekend was one of our last weekends for a while to not have anything to do. The rest of the month and April are cranking! Saturday we lounged and did our running around, so when the clouds broke on Sunday afternoon we went for a walk downtown and hung out at Old City Java for a while for some coffee/tea time!
I’m usually a one lens girl in that I have my fave and tend to keep it on. I wanted to explore and get out of my rut so I brought the camera with my 50 mm that rarely gets any use.
A couple things: 1. Beans has been wanting to dress herself and pick stuff out, particularly the shoes. So this outfit’s shoes and hat are courtesy of Beans.
2. Yes, that is a snot bubble. I went to photoshop it but decided to leave it since I use the blog as a source of documenting Beans life, thought she would like a good laugh at her snot bubble later in life:) She is dancing to the music the DJ was playing and was quite the hit.
3. They were having some sort of car show in Market Square which means puppies were out and about…that is what she is staring at in this pic.
4. This is her game face of “are you gonna git me” and then she takes off running. Makes stores a little challenging.
5. Whoops!
6. Just to cap things off for the parents, Beans projectile vomited on the way home all over the car. Yay. Not sure why still but she is better now. So after a change of clothes she was hanging in the Rover in her Sunday shades while we got to hose everything down. Good thing she’s cute!

1. A shout out to Jennifer for being an awesome party person! We had our Mary Kay party and had a ton of fun! For those that know me, I’m not your too big on lots of makeup and such and had never really used Mary Kay. So I went into it with an open mind and had a blast plus got some amazing stuff! I got the cleanser and my skin is very happy! (I opted for the Time Wise since my mom reminded me the other day that I am nearing 30….thanks mom!) I also got Brad some Satin Hands (dont tell him I told you…hehe!). He has such dry hands this time of year and we have yet to find a lotion that helps…until now! He diligently puts it on every night:) Enough of me sounding like a commercial but I wanted to pass on my joy! If you ever want to host a partay, call Jenn!
2. I keep meaning to get a cool pic of me and my camera….must remember! I’m in need of a fun pic to use on my twitter and facebook and keep forgetting to get one. I almost did today but thought I should do it on a day when my hair had some sort of shape and semblance to it:) Note: the above pic is not of me…its a google image:(
3. The infamous Indy…will we ever meet him!? My sister is carrying on the family tradition of never having a child near there due date. We are 3 for 3 in having kids 2 weeks past due between my mom and me and looks like Linzy is going to make it 4! She is set to be induced on Monday…I’m so sad I can’t be up there but I have instructed mom to send me a pic so I can share it on here:)
4. Camping season is almost here!! I tried to convince Brad to go camping this weekend but the weather wasn’t on our side. In honor of camping season, I ran across some awesome Etsy stuff that I need to help liven up our poor ratty camping gear:) Isn’t it darling!?
5. And lastly, a little about Beans and her continued love for all things Dora. She opened her eyes this morning, looked at me, and said “doradora”. Lord help me when she gets to the age of pre-teen and boy bands!! And have you ever noticed that that little girl Dora is EVERYWHERE! Gotta love marketing!!

Wednesday, March 11th, 2009A group of photog’s from around the country are meeting up in G’burg in April for some fun and photos. We are in need of some models so that means a great deal for a few of you! We are looking for:
High school junior or seniors (male or female)
*must be in high school
*must be able to sign a model release (or have parent sign if you are underage)
*must be available on April 18th and able to travel to Cade’s Cove

1. Heather Nova has a new cd out, The Jasmine Flower, that I am enjoying. I have loved her since her Siren cd. Interesting fact….she lives in Bermuda and recorded the whole cd on solar power there on her guitar and home recording….leaving you with a raw, earthy sound that is awesome!
2. This weekend, among other things, will include buying a new BPA free Nalgene bottle. I need to drink more water and my trusty pink nalgene that I’ve had for years is in need of an upgrade to the safer BPA free version. They have a toddler size one too, so Beans may be getting one too!
3. My new blog stalking love…..Bakerella. Too bad I’m trying to be good with my eating or I would be making me some of this stuff! Next get together or birthday party, I am so going here for some inspiration!
4. This weekend is Daylight Savings Time! I can’t believe its already here. On the one hand I am super excited because that means more daylight for sessions and such…but we go to bed early (like 9!) and its kinda depressing when you get into the summer months and its still light out when you are going to bed. Yes, we’re old!
5. So, I had the grand idea to find something that gives back to buy in bulk for everyone this Christmas. I was trying to get a jump start and be organized but so far, no luck! I’m still on the search for that one thing and now may have to concede and get different things to fit everyone’s tastes, all that give back still though. In my search, I ran across Global Girlfriend . Its a great place to get gifts that do good..plus they have super cute things!
