oh friday, how I love thee! Here is some randomness for you…enjoy!

1. I found this awesome site and wanted to share. It can be helpful in so many ways, from wondering what to paint your room to designing your blog…check it out! Colour Lovers

2. Have a crankin weekend with an awesome wedding on Friday to shoot, Bean’s unbirthday (her 6 month mark is Valentine’s Day and we celebrate her half birthday…why?, because we can!..hehe!), some V-day funness, and hopefully a trip to the park if the weather cooperates! ohoh….annnnnddd….hopefully a new couch if the price is right! (we really need a new couch…ours is old and definitely past its prime…so this would be a very good thing!)

3. I heard a story a while ago and it has stayed with me….and had such an impact on me. I decided to look it up and find out where I had heard that the other day because I couldn’t remember. I finally found it and wanted to share…it was from Tony Hall on his meeting with Mother Teresa. He writes about it in his book. Here is the excerpt that I love: “The first time I met Mother Teresa, she took my left ahnd in hers and said, “I want you to always remember something.” Then she used her other hand to deliberately fold each of my five outstretched fingers, one by one, into my palm. With each fold, she said a word: “For … the … least … of … these. I want you to always think of this, For the least of these.”

5. And lastly….some silly things about Beans for the record:)
-She LOVES stickers!! If you don’t get a sticker before you start food shopping, rest assure that when she sees the stickers in the bread section that say the prices she will be jumping up and down with excitement trying to get at those stickers.
-She has made up her own version of baby sign language that includes sticking out her tongue and pointing in her mouth when she wants a drink. nice!
-She thinks keeping stuff like treats and toys from Mocha is the best game ever.
-She is getting at saying no…uhoh!

well…some random stuff to put on here, so I thought we would do a ten on Tuesday!

1. I’m having a Mary Kay party with a friend, Jenn, on March 8th. It’s going to be a fun afternoon of girliness…complete with eats, drinks, and facials! Email or comment if you want to join and I can get you the info.
Even if you are a random reader or a client, feel free to join in and come meet some new friends!

2. I’m finding that some may not love the Boss as much as our family but if you don’t, you should! It was one of the greatest concerts I’ve ever been to. Period. You should have seen our house during the halftime show…we turned up the tv when he said to, beans had her drum and was dancing around and mom and dad, well, you can never keep em quiet (or mom in her seat!) when Bruce is on! Check out the performance here…

3. I’m definitely ready for spring. give me those 70 degree days with the windows rolled down!! According to Punxsutawny Phil I have to wait 6 more weeks though!

4. We usually get Dollywood season passes and go a few times during the year. I think this year we are going to opt out though. We have been missing our camping and such the last couple years and hopefully this will
give us more free time. Plus, I think Big Ridge is back open this year! I vote Big Ridge as my favorite camping place in Knoxville!

5. Here is a new fave song….Even in the Darkness (click play on the right). Its a non cheesy love song…sometimes hard to find!

6. Beans is a growing…here are some recent highlights: saying the words yumyum, woofwoof, meow, Dora and general randomness that you can’t understand, dancing like there is no tomorrow, a general love of all things Dora, throws her hands up to a touchdown, thinks that teasing Mocha with a treat and then running away
is the funniest thing ever, and she is definitely already showing her punk and love of throwing a hissy. oh yeah, can’t wait for the two’s. I need to read up on how to best handle a tantrum because obviously I’m going to need that skill:)

7. I have been meaning to put this on the blog forever! #1 beauty product that changed my life: the Chi

8. I used to have migraines really bad but haven’t had one in years now, really ever since moving to Knoxville. So why did I have one last night?! It has gone away for the most part but goodness! I either need to destress or get glasses.

9. ok…so to show off the awesomeness of the pictures on this blog, here is another one from the most recent blogged session. I have a few other sessions/stuff to share but am waiting until after Valentine’s Day since they are presents and surprises that I don’t want to spoil:)
