I have a new love. I love painting, hate edging…hate! So, while we were picking out paint we happened upon the Shur-line paint edger and for a whopping $3.99 got the best invention ever!! I was skeptical…very skeptical. How can something so cheap and seemingly easy really be. I had seen the commercial but somehow that made me more of a skeptic but definitely interested enough to try it. So, last night I decided to do the second coat in the bathroom and at least edge around the doors so that when the beadboard goes up today I dont have to worry with going around it. It was simply amazing! I highly recommend it for the next time you paint…no more tape, no more oops’ on the ceiling…amazing! One warning, it is not for those of you who are paint overloaders (my husband for example!)….you have to use minimal paint and follow the very easy and easy to read directions. No dunking in gobs of paint allowed!

so, we’re still chugging away on the bath after…but here is our house after (check out the before on the prior post!) This has been done for awhile now, I have just been procrastinating on getting pictures….sorry!

on bath reno 2008! It is coming along…we now have a floor, walls that are primed and new plumbing and electric! Today is the tiling of the bathtub walls. So, we are definitely making progress and its nice to see change each day. They sanded the walls yesterday so now my house is nice and dusty (mental to do list…need to get on that and clean!)Hoping that late next week we are nearing completion….hoping:)

Beans is growing up! She is starting to acknowledge that she knows what you are saying (I think she’s known what we are saying for awhile but now she knows how to respond). She is nodding so you ask her something and she either nods or just ignores you if she doesn’t want it. I thought she was just responding to our tone of voice so I tested it out a couple times this morning and she really does only say yes to things she wants or agrees with. I asked her if she want yum yum’s (breakfast) and off she goes nodding. Then I asked her if she had poopooed and she didn’t nod…(I did some other questions too but you get the picture)…
